YOUR TASKS
• Test Strategy and Planning - develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to AWS cloud-based applications. Collaborate with delivery teams, DevOps, and other QA peers to identify testing needs and integration points. Define non-functional requirements and implement test scenario based on defined acceptance criteria for User Story.
• Test Automation Development - design and implement automated test scripts using primarily tools such as K6, Grafan, but also Selenium or AWS-specific testing frameworks. Create automated tests with focus on REST API provided by services implemented as microservices, serverless applications, but also traditional applications deployed in AWS.
• Functional and Non-Functional Testing - perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing on AWS-based services. Define and execute performance, scalability, and load testing for applications running in AWS environments. Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001 by performing automated security testing.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration - integrate automated testing workflows as part of CI/CD pipelines in cooperation with DevOps team using preferably tools like GitLab CI/CD pipelines, but also AWS CodePipeline. Continuously monitor, analyze and enhance the automated test suites to adapt to codebase changes and new features.
• Reporting and Analysis - identify and report defects with detailed steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results. Provide detailed test execution reports and metrics to stakeholders. Analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
YOUR PROFILE
• Automated testing tools (preferably K6, Grafan or AWS test tools) and frameworks.
• Conceptual knowledge of AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and more.
• Knowledge of languages (preferably Python or JavaScript) for test automation.
•Experience with IaaC tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform is an advantage.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Solid knowledge of Agile, preferably Scrum.
•English - able to commicate within international team
