YOUR TASKS
We are looking for a hands-on and forward-thinking Product Owner for Engineering to drive the development of our product and service solutions.
This is a key role at the intersection of ALLPLAN product developement and engineering responsible for translating business vision into well-designed, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions that accelerate delivery, improve developer experience, and enable long-term growth.
- Define and prioritize product backlog based on customer needs and business goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to define product requirements and user stories.
- Ensure the product backlog is up to date and accurately reflects product vision and roadmap.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to improve product features and user experience.
- Collaborate with the development team to define and execute development sprints.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to ensure product backlog items are properly defined and prioritized.
- Communicate product roadmap and backlog updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and customers.
- Manage product lifecycle and sunset plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to ensure high-quality customer experience.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user manuals and release notes.
- Work with senior leadership team to align product strategy with overall company goals.
- Assist in product launches and go-to-market initiatives, including pricing and positioning strategies
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, civil engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, AEC industry or related field.
- Preferred knowledge of enterprise software products and workflows in the AEC industry.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Experience in defining product requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience in conducting market research and analyzing customer needs and behaviors.
- Ability to translate market trends and customer feedback into actionable product features.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
- Experience with B2B software products.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of key responsibilities, priorities and long-term plans.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Proficiency in English; other languages are desirable.
